Further questions on ATI 9700 PRO
« on: December 16, 2003, 10:57:17 AM »
THANKS to EVERYONE .  I appreciate all you guys sharing your knowledge and expertise with me.

NOW ,  I have two more questions that I would like to ask:

In the ATI Control Panel;

The "3D" tab, OpenGL configuration and,

The "COLOR" tab Full Screen 3D configuration.

Are these enhancements supported in AH and if so what in the world do they do?????

Once again, many Thanks to One and All who might enlighten me on these subjects:     :o :o

There are some games that use OpenGL instead of DirectX.  Generally a game will use one or the other.  AH uses DirectX, and so is not affected by the OpenGL settings.  If you play other games then changing the OpenGL settings might affect them.  The controls are very similar to DirectX, as I'm sure you've seen.

Brightness and Contrast should be self-explanatory.  Gamma is sort of like another brightness control.  In general you don't have to mess with these things.  AH may load it's own settings anyway with respect to this.
